The Scott Jones Difference
We see ourselves as problem-solvers. Our clients can trust in our experience that we will explore aviation solutions that may seem out-of-reach. We approach every client with personal attention. We have to - their aviation success is our bottom line.
We can't say enough about how incredible the experience has been working with Scott and Debbie. After looking online for months at different websites, I expected my first aircraft purchase to be like buying a house or a car. In my mind, I didn't need a middleman, and I didn't need a salesman!
After talking with Scott over a few weeks, we realized that they truly had our best interest. "An expert is someone who knows some of the worst mistakes that can be made in his subject and how to avoid them." (-WERNER HEISENBERG). Scott is truly an expert and has always been available to help. He has saved me lots of money, downtime, and heartache!
We purchased a 1978 piper lance and got more than just the airplane. We got a true aviation mentor and lifelong friends. You can't imagine the aviation connections and knowledge they have shared over our 3 year experience and 600+ hours. We are thrilled we bought a great airplane through sja which has allowed us to travel to Crested Butte, West Virginia, all over Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
You can't buy this type of follow up, advice, mentoring, and expertise! Well worth the price you pay!

Coming from a retail background I’m aware of how important service after the sale is to keeping customers coming back. Scott Jones however takes that philosophy to an extreme! It’s hard to say without sounding clich, but when you start dealing with Scott you immediately get a new friend. Scott is the first person I call whenever I have an aircraft question or problem. He’s also the first person I call when I have a “cool” flying story too!
Scott sold me my first plane almost 20 years ago. I flew that plane for almost a decade. When it was time, Scott found me a buyer and sold it. After taking a seven year flying hiatus I was ready to get back into it. Of course the first thing I did was call Scott. He helped me find an instructor so I could get current again and then he sold me the perfect aircraft for the type of flying I wanted to do. I’ve owned the Mooney for over three years now and have flown it over 400 hours! In the past three years I’ve only had to take a commercial airliner once. Not only does the Mooney fill all my needs for a fun afternoon of flying or going for that $100 hamburger it provides me with all my other travel needs as well. The Mooney has taken me to Seattle twice, Billings, Salt Lake City, Redding CA, Las Vegas, Alexandria, LA, Chicago, Denver, Dodge City, Santa Fe, NM, Aspen, CO and many, many other towns and cities.
When I was considering getting back into flying after a seven year break all that I really wanted to do was have a weekend hobby. After talking to Scott I realized that there was a lot more that the right aircraft could do for me. He was able to identify an aircraft that wasn’t too big or too small. A Mooney fit my needs perfectly. It’s not too big to fly down to Dallas to visit friends or just run up to Dodge City to see my Grandfather. It only burns between 10 and 12 gallons per hour so it’s very economical. Also the Mooney isn’t too small to tackle a long cross country to either coast. The trip my Mooney takes care of best is my regular visits to Santa Fe, NM to see my parents. From OKC it only takes between 2.5 to 3.0 hours. If you are familiar with Santa Fe you know the challenges of getting there. General aviation is the absolute best way to go. Santa Fe has no commercial service and driving from OKC takes all day. When I fly the Mooney I’m there by lunch!
There are dozens of examples of trips that just couldn’t be made without a small, fast aircraft. Scott was able to identify my needs and put me into the aircraft that fits me best! He also was able to help me find hanger space and an A&P that takes care of the Mooney’s maintenance needs. If you’re a first time aircraft buyer your new best friend will be Scott Jones. Aircraft ownership is one of the most rewarding experiences around. Scott can help you navigate around some of the pitfalls that can be expensive and irritating. I can’t imagine trying to do it all on my own."

"I have purchased three planes through Scott Jones Aircraft Sales over the past 12 years. I would recommend anyone interested in the purchase of an airplane to use Scott because of his knowledge in all aspects of the flying business and his loyalty to customers long after the sale. Scott's motto of "quality first" has allowed me to fly with little or no repair and/or down time on my airplanes. I hear stories of other pilots who spend "much o" bucks on problems that should have been addressed prior to their airplane purchase. Also, Scott is there long after the sale to help advise on any situation which may arise. I cannot speak highly enough of his character."
